but oh aniway...i need a rest also =X (finding excuses)..

2 of my term tests is over...in fact gotten one of the results back str after 1 day i took the paper (lecturers are very efficient when it comes to results =X) ....din fail...din do badly either...i fall into the "jus like most of the ppl" category...my score for tat paper fell into tat range...

just as what i expected.

though this subject used to be one of my better subject..but somehow or rather...i seemed to have lost interest in it...-_-llll...the lab lesson for OS juz pisses me off...not becose i take a pretty long time to interpret the lab qn...(and sometimes i realli REALLI wonder..."Is my command of English is TAT bad??".....but i passed my ET1000! *humpHz*)...

with a system that grades us based on screen outputs...it is worse!...they claim tat they can't possibly mark hundreds of students' lab work.....

then how did our poly lecturers do it then?

fyi....junk code with same output gets the same marks as long as the output looks correct....seriously not the right way to teach i tot..-_-lll ...

1) ppl can write programs with junk logic and get the same output and naively think that their logic is CORRECT (tat definitely includes me of 'cos..)

2) it encourages ppl to AIM for the screen output since the marker system takes u as correct so LONG you haf the same output as what the teacher model answer that is keyed into the system

3) test data not revealed..unlucky ppl often waste time thinking about what the teacher used as test data. they claim that it is useless to haf everyone getting full marks becose it doesn't help them judge who's better...(BETTER AT WAD?..GUESSING OUTPUTS?)

for eg.....i handle my alternate flow with "Error!"...but professors handle it with "0".

dun be surprised if you get an F grade for the above test case.

plain DUMB.

and did anione tell those professors we're not fortune tellers?

ok...back to topic..

maths test coming..OMG..i wonder how i'm going to pass..-_-lll..4 hours of lecture per week with 95% of the time toking about definitions...3% of the time for break...and 2% of the time giving examples...

99% of the time i go "what the hell is he toking about?" haha =X

oh well...

nvm..muz look on the bright side....7 weeks more..i will be done with all of them =D see...i'm so optimistic!...*pukes* haaa..
