i will be blogging in english for today.

my lappy's adapter died on me yesterday, so i have to make do with my turtle speed Amd Duron + 256mb RAM + 40gb disk space PC.

the characters apparently cannot catch up with my typing speed.
i cannot believe i developed all my poly and uni projects on this pathetic piece of junk, running VS.net, tomcat, eclipse and what-not.

it's amazing.

anyway, what about my adapter? I don't know.
the warranty expired 3 mths ago. and now i have to pay for the stupid adapter which costs around 30 bucks, and if were to get something compatible from Sim lim, maybe 40 dollars more.

the former seemed to be the obvious choice and i decided to call up d*ll and enquire about the purchase.

3 times i called at different intervals between 9am to 3pm.
i was redirected by the customer service officer to the technical support ppl.
and it just so happens that all the technical support ppl are busy and i was asked to leave my contact and email for 3 times.

yes, 3 times.

i waited for almost a day and no one revert back to me. kns.

being the impatient sotong as always, i called back for the 4th time.

cust svr offr: *blabs everything in rocket speed* "hello...this is.....yada yada yada....how can I assist you?"

da sotong: "hi, i just want to let you know this is the 4th time i'm calling to find out regarding the purchase of power adapter. I left my contact number 3 times and no one revert back to me, are the technical support ppl really so busy? you people are really wasting my time."

cust svr offr: *suddenly turns polite* ".......oh..we're so sorry....really very sorry...."

and after she apologise for uncountable times...she finally redirected me to a technical support officer. the latter sounded uber friendly, maybe because she was told i sounded pissed~

she then told me that the adapter takes 7 - 10 days to ship and i proceeded to ask her whether i can purchase the power adapter from d*ll's retail store at funan or suntec.

technical support offr: "oh sorry, i dunno whether the retail store has this adapter."
da sotong: *=.=* "then can you check the retail store?"
technical support offr: "oh sorry..we don't have the retail store's number."

=.=llllll
since her reply was damn ridiculous, i tried searching for the retail store's number on my own, but to no avail.

i gave up the idea of buying the adapter from retail store.

hai. gotta wait for 7 days before i can blog in chinese again.
