it's qing ming jie today...hmm...i guess most of the chinese know about this occasion?...for benefit of doubt...chinese prays to the deceased (or shud i say...ancestors) in their family on this day.......my ma woke up exceptionally early today jus to prepare all the food and kuehs required for the praying session at home......i started to think if i would be able to continue to follow this tradition once i start a family of my own?....my mum gave a definite 'no'...hahah....she was apparently beri clear that youngsters these days...dun even bother about "chu yi shi wu"....let alone qing ming jie...- _ -lll....and i tot she was quite right...
juz came back from the internet security revision lecture...now feeling tired already...seems like alot of people have already started their revision...- __ -lll....but i guess this sense of urgency is still not in me yet...well at the very least...i haven even started my revision...(realli la...i noe some of you gonna say..."dun bluff"...as expected...)...all i can say to those people are...i am not what you think i am.....
on the way home...was toking to gege and mama about our"yue ding" for 10 years later...LOL~~...tat makes me wonder...where/what would i be then??...a housewife?...or sekali...i might not be even married yet?...haha.....i seriously have no idea...or rather...i hope to see myself married...(then gege cannot call me 'lao gu po' *nanny nanny boo boo* =X) hahah....shud have kids by then....hMmmm...both holding a stable job...staying comfortably in a HDB 5-room flat.....my place shud be in between my husband's place and my mum's...haha...so i can go visit them whenever i like.....and my darling neice would be 10 by then?...hopping around me and pestering me for b'dae gifts i guess?...haha...i also hope to see my da ge married by then (i hope he doesn't read this...haha!)...then every chinese new year...3 of us will bring our family back for dinner...so 'ren nao'..haha!....tat's the kind of wonderful fairytale ending i wan to see......haha...but i think my dream also realli bu guo fen la (agree?..haha...)...quite realistic wad...LOL~~....*conTinUes tO daydReaM*
